November Open Critique with Leslie Clague

Get advice on current projects your working on, discuss germinating ideas, or just come and be part of the conversation! Open Critique is a welcoming, casual forum for creative minds to share ideas, get feedback and build peer support. ALL mediums and artistic practices are welcome!

November’s guest critic is sculptor, printer and published photographer Leslie Clague.

Our professional guest critics guide the discussion with quality advice to help propel your project forward. Past guest critics include Jen Delos Reyes (Associate Director of Art and History, UIC), Adam Welch (curator), and Michelle Illuminato (artist, Associate Professor Alfred University).

Wondering what to bring?
Just bring yourself or come with documentation (digital or physical) of recent or in-progress work. The setting is informal. If you’re presenting work, we encourage you to focus on one piece or a related series of works for the discussion. Bring along a snack to share. NK will provide some refreshments.

Getting here
We are located on the corner of Tripoli Street and Madison Avenue and can be accessed by car, bus or bike. We’re the historic church on corner, can’t miss it. Once you arrive, enter through the double doors on the Madison Avenue side. Public Transportation: 54C, 54D and the 6 Spring Hill. (Address: 1000 Madison Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15212.)

Parking
Parking is available behind Neu Kirche’s building off of Turtle Way. Additional parking can be found in the UPMC lot on Spring Garden Avenue and Concord Street. Street parking is also available.
