CURRENT EXHIBITION: DOLL HOUSE by Thomas Waters

"I was interested in magnifying them, such that they become bigger than life, and seeing the object as sculpture displaying grace, gesture and pose. But the most striking quality of these dolls is their silence, which leaves their stories to be deciphered and invented."

One of Pittsburgh's great outsider artists, Tom works within the mediums of print and photography. In a revealing show of large scale photographs and sculpture, gender ambiguities are further complicated by suggestions of apparent trauma or manipulation at the hands of someone unknown, yet familiar.

Opening Reception - August 26th, 6:30PM
On view by appointment through November 6th
